Artificial Vision: An Introduction

We are a group of four undergraduate students at Brown University currently taking a class titled "Biotechnology in Medicine" (BIOL 0170) with Prof. Zielinski. For our midterm project we have chosen to start a blog dedicated to the current research and developments in artificial vision. This exciting and innovative field has an extensive amount of ongoing projects and has made considerable progress in the past few decades. We will be focusing not only on the science behind artificial vision, but will also be addressing critical issues surrounding the topic such as the regulation, social impacts, and future directions of artificial vision. We hope that this blog will serve as an interactive platform for discussion, and that you, as a reader, will gain a little more insight into this emerging technology.
